Run for Unity at President’s House

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel First Lady Smt. Savita Kovind flagged off the Mission Olympics ‘Run for Unity’ organized by the Police Families Welfare Society, Delhi Police.

On the occasion of the flagging off of the PFWS Run For Unity from the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhawan, Pfws President Smt. Anu Asthana presented a memento to the First Lady of India as the Delhi Police All Women Pipe Band played some melodious tunes. 75 sportspersons from the Mission Olympics program took part in the said event. Over the next few weeks, the Run For Unity flag will travel to 10 PFWS welfare centres covering a distance of 158 kms before culminating on the Delhi Police Raising Day function at NPL on Feb 16, 2022.
