PFWS Musical Star- Final Round

To unleash the hidden talent in cultural activities of police families, PFWS
conducted an online solo singing and dance competition – “PFWS Musical
Star”. Under the guidance of President, PFWS Mrs. Pratima Shrivastava, the
online auditions were held through facebook page PFWS Preneur. It has
gained massive popularity and 324 contestants including some talented police
personnel turned out for the online auditions.
On 15th October, 2020 the long awaited live final round of PFWS Musical Star
was held at the Auditorium, Delhi Police Public School, Safdarjung Enclave,
New Delhi. A total 24 finalists contended in 8 different age groups for the title
of PFWS Musical Star in each group ranging from kids to homemakers. 11
singers contended for the title of PFWS Musical Singing Star in three groups
and 13 dancers contended for the title of PFWS Musical Dance Star in five
groups.
The competition was judged by a four members jury – Dr. Rashmi Chetan,
Mrs. Anita Nama, Mrs. Bhawna Sharma and Mrs. Mutum Nirmala Devi. All the
finalists enthralled the jury and audience with their magnificent performances.
In the close-counter musical battle 8 contenders were declared as winners in 8 different groups.
