Mrs. Pratima Shrivastava is an educationist, a teacher and leader in the field of welfare and social work. She has a double master degree in both science as well as arts. She truly practices learning through innovation and she has been awarded the prestigious incentive award in 2016 by Kendriya Vidyalaya.
Outside of the PFWS, she runs a NGO called “Narayan Mahila Vikas Sansthan” which aims to provide free education to the children who need it. In addition, she works with Inner Wheel Club of Mulund Hills which is working continuously for the empowerment of women.
During her four year tenure in CRPF she headed RCWA J&K zone. She found working for the CRPF personnel families’ to be a great honor and pride. Under her guidance, the organization launched new initiative for fostering entrepreneurship by providing knowledge and skills development classes. This enables the families to have an additional source of income and to provide them with social and financial independence. Under her leadership, the CRPF zone won the best documentary prize in the annual welfare meet. She has been actively involved with the various welfare activities such as opening of Tailoring Centre, Beauty Parlor, Knitting Centre, Computer Centre etc.
Now, she is looking forward to lead PFWS with the same passion and dedication in order to bring positive change in the lives of our police families.
