“Rangoli Making Competition”
To keep the fun-filled tradition of Rangolis going, PFWS organized a Rangoli making competition organized on the 20th of August, 2019, at 17, Mother Teresa Crescent Road. A total of nine welfare centres and twenty-seven participants took part in an hour-long competition and made different rangolis depicting beautiful pictures on the theme of Independence Day. During the function President of the PFWS Mrs Suchana Patnaik, highlighted the importance of the colours in one’s life and Independence Day. Then the two judges of the competition, Mrs Ruma Malik and Mrs Geeta Nithianandam announced and facilitated the winners. The winners of the competition were: Vaishnavi, Anjali, Renu and Neelam from the Narela Welfare Centre, three special prizes were given to Rajshree from Model Town, Manshi from Malviya Nagar and Suman from Vikas Puri. The event ended with a vote of thanks by President PFEWS, Mrs Suchana Patnaik.
