Condiments Packaging Centre and Activity Hall Inauguration @Pitam Pura

Police Families Welfare Society (PFWS) strives to reach out to each and every member of Delhi
Police families. Amidst a large spectrum of ongoing welfare activities conducted by PFWS, on 16th Oct,
2020, a newly constructed Condiments Packaging Centre and Activity Hall were inaugurated at Welfare
Centre Pitampura by the Chief Guest Smt. Pratima Shrivastava, President, PFWS. Smt. Archana Sinha,
Team Leader welcomed all the guests. The event was graced by the presence of Smt. Shalini Singh, Joint
CP/Western Range, DCP/Outer District, Addl. DCsP/Outer District, PFWS Team Leaders and family
members of Police Colony Pitampura.
A traditional lamp lighting ceremony was held followed by a mesmerizing cultural show by the family
members of the Pitampura Police Colony.
On this occasion, the President PFWS also awarded trophies, medals and certificates along with
cash prizes to the winners of Online Summer Camps & Khana Khazana Cookery Contest. In addition, the
President, PFWS donated 02 hearing aid devices to the wards of Police personnel who resides in
Shalimar Bagh Police Colony.
In her address, the President, PFWS congratulated the residents of Pitampura Police Colony for the
newly inaugurated Activity Hall and Condiments Packaging Centre. She reiterated that the full-fledged
Condiments Packaging Centre shall provide greater opportunities for the ladies of the centre to boost
their confidence making them self-independent. The Activity Hall will help them hone their skills and
talent too. The President PFWS also stated that the prime objective of this Welfare Centre is to provide
Skill Development Training, Coaching for Competitive Exams, Recreational Activities, Medical & Summer
Camps, Cookery Classes, etc.
