A Felicitation Ceremony to honour students up to Class VIII was held at Delhi Police Public School, Wazirabad on 10 February 2026 to celebrate their academic excellence and achievements. The event was graced by Smt. Rachna Golchha, President, PFWS, as the Chief Guest, in the presence of Mrs. Preeti Batra, Headmistress; Shri Devesh Chandra Srivastava, Special CP (Crime) along with teachers and parents.
Students were felicitated for their dedication, discipline, and perseverance, while parents and teachers were acknowledged for their unwavering encouragement and support. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest highlighted the vital role of education in empowering police families and reaffirmed PFWS’s commitment to holistic development. She encouraged students to uphold discipline, set clear goals, and pursue their aspirations with sincerity and integrity.
The ceremony concluded with vibrant cultural performances, adding to the celebratory spirit of the occasion.
Police Family Welfare Society (PFWS) is a non-profit organization which was registered under the Societies Registration Act in the year 1972 as an autonomous body to look after the welfare of the police personnel and their families.
