‘Mission Olympics Annual Sports Meet – 2026’

The closing ceremony of the Annual Sports Meet 2026, organized under the banner “PFWS Mission Olympics,” was held with great enthusiasm at the New Police Lines Sports Ground, Kingsway Camp, marking the successful conclusion of the three-day event conducted from 30 January to 1 February 2026.

The ceremony was graced by Shri Satish Golchha, Commissioner of Police, Delhi, as the Chief Guest, and Shri Yogeshwar Dutt, Olympic Bronze Medalist and Padma Shri Awardee, as the Guest of Honour, along with Smt. Rachna Golchha, President, PFWS. Senior Delhi Police officials, representatives from sports bodies, and other distinguished guests were also present.

Trophies and medals were awarded to the winners of various competitions, and athletes who excelled at the state and national levels were specially felicitated. In his address, the Chief Guest congratulated the participants and emphasized the role of sports in discipline, fitness, and character building. The Guest of Honour inspired young athletes by sharing motivating experiences from his sporting journey.

In her address, Smt. Rachna Golchha expressed pride in the participants and reaffirmed PFWS’s commitment to the holistic development of Delhi Police families. The ceremony concluded with the felicitation of dignitaries and the release of balloons symbolizing unity, aspiration, and growth.
