“80th Independence Day of India”

PFWS commemorated the 80th Independence Day of India with great pride and patriotic spirit across all 14 Welfare Centres, Smita Therapy Centre and Kiran Therapy Centre.

The celebrations began with flag-hoisting ceremonies in the presence of Welfare Centre Team Leaders and Delhi Police officials, with enthusiastic participation from Delhi Police families, fostering a strong sense of unity and national pride.

Under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative, police families proudly displayed the Tricolour at their homes and participated in ‘Selfie with Tiranga’ moments.

A special patriotic drawing competition for children showcased their creativity and love for the nation. The celebrations also commemorated 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’, honouring its enduring spirit of patriotism and national unity.
