“International Women’s Day 2019”

Police Families Welfare Society celebrated International Women’s Day with much zeal and enthusiasm at all the Welfare Centres on 8th March, 2019. Women health, and hygiene were the main focus of the day. Special health talks were organised at all the welfare centres in association with various hospitals, like B.L. Kapoor Hospital, Sanjeevni Hospital, Yashoda Super Speciality Hospital, Park Hospital, Star Imaging and Path Lab Ltd., and Diagnostics Care Foundation. Health talks were delivered by the specialists from these hospitals to spread awareness about post menopausal problems, breast cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer and other women health issues. It was followed by an interactive session with these specialists. The programme ended with a beautiful cultural performance by women of our colonies.
