DELHI POLICE COMMISSIONER BONDS WITH DIVYANG CHILDREN OF POLICE FAMILIES ON THE EVE OF FESTIVAL OF RAKHI

On 21-08-2021, the Police Families Welfare Society ( PFWS) organized an assembly of beautiful and blessed Divyang children of families of Delhi Police staying in residential colonies all over Delhi. Shri Rakesh Asthana, Commissioner of Police, Delhi graced the occasion as the Chief Patron in the presence of Smt. Anu Asthana, President PFWS, assisted by Core Committee Members, Team Leaders and New Delhi District officials.

Sh. Rakesh Asthana shared beautiful moments of joy with the Divyang children and the girls gracefully tied Rakhi and gift hampers containing goodies and sweet boxes were handed over to them one-by-one. Smt. Anu Asthana, President of the Society in turn tied Rakhis to the boys. They were also felicitated in a similar fashion.

Speaking on the event, Sh. Rakesh Ashthana, CP Delhi in his message was extremely happy on this unique opportunity of sharing warmth with such graceful and beautiful children. The PFWS organization expressed gratification for his gracious presence and creating a strong bond of friendship and togetherness with the families of Delhi Police at large. The smile on the faces of all Divyang children who could attend the ceremony alongwith a family escort made the day and set the tone of festivity all around.
