An Awareness Drive for plastic-free colonies

Continuing the quest to make police colonies plastic-free, a series of workshops on Plastic Waste Management were organized by PFWS in alliance with the  Indian Pollution Control Association (IPCA), an NGO. Beginning from Malviya Nagar welfare centre, these workshops spanned all the welfare centres and saw enthusiastic participation from residents who learned about various ways in which plastic waste can be effectively segregated, reused, and recycled. Residents were also encouraged to stop using single-use plastics and adopt more environment-friendly practices.
