Alankaran – An Evening to Remember

On Friday, 22nd October, 2021, Maitreyi, the AGMUT cadre Officers’ wives group, hosted Alankaran – An Evening to Remember for all its members at 17, Mother Teresa Crescent Marg. The function, hosted two days before Karwachauth, had the theme of “ornamentation” and the lady wives of retired and serving officers were present in their festival finery. The evening, which was full of fun, frolic, interesting games and a lively cultural programme, was also graced by several ex Presidents of PFWS who praised Smt. Anu Asthana and her team for organising such a wonderful function to bring the fraternity together. President PFWS, Smt. Anu Asthana welcomed the gathering and wished everyone good health and happiness in the times to come. She also expressed her desire to meet more often, if conditions were conducive, to foster and deepen the bonds of Maitreyi. The function was organised by the Cultural Committee headed by Vice-President Smt. Priti Singh and strung together by the seamless anchoring of Team Leaders Smt. Sapna Kumar and Dr. Bhawna Malik who kept everyone engrossed and entertained. The evening ended with the partaking of sumptuous food and the guests leaving with beautiful memories and a silk potli made in-house by the very talented ladies of PFWS.
